Arowana was honoured with three Gold Stevie Awards at the 18th Annual International Business Awards (IBA) in August 2021. The company was awarded Most Innovative Company of the Year (up to 100 employees), Achievement in Organization Recovery, and Chairman of the Year.
The IBA also awarded Arowana with three Bronze Stevie Awards for Company of the Year–Business or Professional Services (medium-size), Energy Industry Innovation of the Year, and Achievement in Growth.
In September 2021, the Arowana-founded NASDAQ-listed B Corp, VivoPower International was awarded Transaction of the Year by the TMA. The honour is in recognition of the hyperturnaround of VivoPower in 2020 and is for the small companies (sub-US$50m revenue) category.
Arowana has ranked in the top 50 for three consecutive years.
In 2020, Arowana debuted in the top 10 of leading global impact companies in the Real Leaders Impact Awards, ranking behind the likes of Tesla and Patagonia. In 2021, Arowana was again ranked in the top 30 of leading global impact companies as recognised by the Real Leaders Impact Awards.
In 2021, VivoPower also made its debut in the Real Leaders Impact Awards, ranking in the top 50 globally.
In 2022, Arowana ranked #33 in the world and #2 in Impact Investing.
In May 2021, Arowana won two Asia-Pacific Gold Stevie Awards for innovative achievement, one for growth and another for innovation in corporate recovery for its hyperturnaround of VivoPower.
In June 2021, Arowana also won a prestigious Asia-Pacific Grand Stevie Award for receiving the highest score amongst all nominations from Australia. Grand Stevie Awards are only granted to the highest scoring nomination from each of the top four countries, as ranked by number of nominations each year. Arowana was honoured to have been recognised with a Grand Stevie Award alongside other recipients being Telkom Indonesia (Indonesia), CITIC Telecom International (Hong Kong), Prime Metro BMD (Philippines), and SM Supermalls (Philippines).
