Arowana first achieved B Corp certification in 2018. Upon recertification in 2022, our verified score rose from 84.2 to 138.8 placing us among the highest-scoring B Corps globally.

B Corp certification, administered by B Lab, is the most rigorous third-party standard for companies that balance profit with purpose. It assesses governance, worker treatment, community impact, environmental stewardship, and customer outcomes. Certification is not self-declared. It is earned through an independent audit and must be renewed.

For Arowana, B Corp is not a badge. It is a constitutional commitment. Every company in our group codifies in its governing documents that its purpose is to operate as a force for good for all stakeholders, not only shareholders. Failure to uphold these standards risks loss of accreditation.

In practice, this means annual ESG assessment across the group, stakeholder accountability embedded in board governance, environmental commitments that carry real consequences, and a culture that treats impact measurement as seriously as financial reporting.
