Sydney-based Robert McKelvey is a Senior Business Executive and Company Director. His Bachelor of Arts degree is in history and psychology, and over the course of his 30-year career, Rob has undertaken executive and senior management roles across a range of sectors around the world including information technology, professional services, publishing and retail.
Before joining the Board of Arowana, he was the Asia-Pacific Senior Vice President and Managing Director of American professional-services company Gartner. Under his leadership, the company’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region expanded significantly and revenue tripled. Before his time at Gartner, Rob held General Management and Vice President positions at Sterling Software across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Rob is an active member of several professional bodies, including the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), and a Fellow in the Australian Institute of Management (AIM).
