Nicanor “Nic” Villaseñor IV

As our Investment Manager, Nicanor “Nic” Villaseñor IV, CFA, works to identify and execute investment and exit opportunities at Arowana Impact Capital (AIC).

After graduating with a degree in Business Administration (magna cum laude) from the University of the Philippines Diliman, Nic worked for over nine years in J.P. Morgan’s Investment Banking team in the Philippines, executing various M&A, equity, and debt transactions. He has completed 35 transactions with an aggregate value of over US$20 billion. He also attained his CFA Charter in the Philippines in 2018.

He owns a café focused on Philippine specialty coffee. He aims to elevate Philippine coffee both domestically and globally through his direct relationships with coffee farmers across the Philippines.

Nic is passionate about food, coffee, sports, and puzzles. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, solving sudoku puzzles, and playing real-time strategy games.

It’s about staying disciplined, taking consistent action, and remaining resilient even when things don’t go as planned.
