Asghar Chaudhry is the Global Venture Development Director at Arowana Middle East (AWM). He first became part of the Arowana team through the Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) programme in 2022. He has since transitioned to a full-time role with the company.
Before joining Arowana, he was the Co-Founder and Managing Director of a business-to-business (B2B) marketplace that specialises in the agriculture and construction sectors. He has over 18 years of experience working for various sectors in different leadership and consulting roles.
Asghar graduated from Lahore University of Management Sciences, where he took up his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. He also completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance at the same university. In 2015, Asghar received his MBA in Strategy from INSEAD, France. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter, as well as a Blue Ocean Strategy Certificate.
During his downtime, Asghar enjoys a nice round of golf. He also likes to go on hikes in the mountains and lift weights at the gym. Asghar is an avid book reader, often drawing inspiration from his favourite authors on the importance of meditation and self-awareness.
