Technical Support Engineer

Karla Mae Nieva is one of our Technical Support Engineers, providing IT support and infrastructure management for Arowana and its operating entities.

After earning her degree in Information Technology from Bicol University College of Science in the Philippines, Karla relocated to Abu Dhabi and worked as an administrative assistant for nearly two years. But she soon followed her passion and found her way back to technology, joining the Microsoft Office 365 technical support team.

Now back in the Philippines and based in Manila, Karla is responsible for configuring our computer systems, providing end-user support and troubleshooting technical issues. She specialises in administering and managing Office 365 services.

Away from the computer, Karla is an avid reader. Her favourite genre is action and adventure—not surprising given that her bucket list includes skydiving, paragliding, and blobbing.

The secret to success? The courage to be comfortable in the uncomfortable.
